Driiinn! It's time to wake up, the last century! Once upon a time, before cell phones and digital alarms, there was once a fantastic device called an alarm clock, with two bells mounted on it, which were struck by an oscillating hammer. You wound the clock with a ratchet wrench, set the alarm hand for the time you wanted to wake up, and when that clock time reached the alarm hand, the bells would ring until you turned it off. Can you believe that such an amazing, simple yet clever mechanism ever existed?

The Vintage Ugears alarm clock is a charming throwback, a decorative reminder of the mechanical alarm clock placed on the nightstand at your parents' or grandparents' house. Whenever you move the large gear to the side, the hands of the alarm clock rotate and the bells ring, giving the wooden model of the clock the distinctive "click" sound of the alarm clock. The clock actuators are oriented so that a full rotation of the minute hand advances the clock by one position.
